Hello, there! My name is Michaela annddd....

I'm pretty new to DeviantArt and this is my way to introduce myself to the "outside" artist world. I'm a sophomore in high-school and I mostly try to dabble in everything. Watercolor, charcoal, acrylic (I haven't really gotten into oil, yet), colored pencil, pencil, pen, clay.. I love mixed media because I think adding in a bit of watercolor to a pencil drawing can make it sing. I'm a bit nervous that I won't be very good and that I'm in over my head. (I really hope not, though.) I mostly felt the need to make this account because of my art teacher. He is absolutely amazing in his way of promoting students to keep working and keep pushing until the have the best final product and to explore art. I'll call him KVD on here, when he makes edits/suggestions or when I just want to thank him for being absolutely brilliant. I hope this is enough insight as to who I am as an artist right now. I'll end up doing these journals periodically just to see how I've changed as an artist and to see how I can maybe improve. Thanks for reading, if you did.<3
